About Me

By the Grace of ~God~ & The ~Angels~ are why i am here~

With their help, i have created a theraputic art tool.

My Great Grandmother's Native American Beaded Doll inspired me also.

Wanting to give back to humanity,  what i received in my healing, from childhood sexual abuse.

The Self Esteem classes evolved from my work with individuals in many stages of their recovery process.

"Zaisho Services" a non-profit  here in WA, was founded in April of 2001.

Registration # 9118, UBI # 602-114-983.

Purpose Categories~ Arts, Culture, Humanities, Mental Health, Crisis Intervention, Human Service, Cancer Recovery, Drugs & Alcohol Recovery, Self Care

I have healed from cancer twice now. I am cancer free today.

As a CNA working at a retirement home one of my favorite patients got angry and within seconds had pushed into my out stretched arms, and ripped out both my right, and left rotator cuffs.  Crushing me going on 5 & half  years ago at work.

I have had numerous torturous proceedures, &  6 operations. 3 on my left shoulder, and 2 on my right shoulder.

My nerve openings at 3 levels had to be drilled out on the left side of my neck. Relieving the ice pick sensation that i had been experiencing for 2 & half years. When the doctor went back in to fix my shoulder, he damaged my neck beyond repair. There is nothing that the doctors can do to relieve what is left.

I have been waiting to get release to go back to work, and the doctors are saying that i may never be able to go back to my CNA work again.   Learning to except my limitations has been a hard road. You never truly understand what you have until it is gone.

Living in chronic pain is difficult at times, and getting off of the medication that the doctor's prescribed was hard to do, but worth it to not have a fuzzy brain.

I believe that it has helped me to be more compassionate and have a deeper empathy for others that are working through their own recovery issues.

The painting that was done of my spirit, is called "Canyon". It was painted for the front cover of my book, "The Heat from within the "Silence".

The doll around my neck is the Theraputic art tool, that people make in the self esteem classes.

The braid that the doll hangs on, is braided for One Mind, One Body, One Spirit.

The spirit of the Bear in my tribe is concidered "The Guardian Spirit of the Children".

I was told this by Yellow Horse Man, whom is a Native American Guide, Grandfather, &  Sacred Sundancer.

The Bear Totem, in the Crystal, is a Totem Pole that is on Woman's grave in Alaska.

I was told she was a Cross Cultural Shaman, by the woman that painted the painting.

She said it had to be in it. The "Hand in the painting  is significant for the healing of my hands. The "Hawk" & "Owl" &"Bear" are  some of my power animals.

Rising from the Flames i have survived, and i have returned to help others, on their path to wholeness~
