Listen closely to what people tell you. Listen to the messages that politicians give you. Listen with your heart connected to intelligence. Do not listen blindly. Blind belief leads only to sorrow and disappointment.

This is a crucial time in human history. This is a crucial time especially for Americans. The decisions made today will spread like ripples in a pond.

This is a time to stand like a flower in your power.

Why like a flower and not a tree? Because the flower is soft, open, and flexible. The flower bends with the wind, while the seemingly strong tree breaks because it cannot bend.

Flexibility is defined as the ability to adapt; to be responsive to change. In perfect humility, the grass surrenders to the great unseen presence of the wind. Humility is defined as humbleness of mind; unpretentious; deeply or courteously respectful. Isn't this a lovely thought? Can you imagine going through life humble of mind, deeply and courteously respectful?

When we are deeply and courteously respectful, we listen carefully to the stories of the world. We listen with deep intuition. We listen to politicians and teachers without blindly believing everything they tell us. When we listen with deep intuition, we have the ability to discern what is true for us. We listen without judgment and with discrimination. We listen with heart connected to divine intelligence. Then we have the power to decide for ourselves what is true for us. We have the power to make good decisions for ourselves.

How best to use intuition? This is a question many people have. We cannot have good intuition if we are not able to listen.

When we listen primarily to doubt and fear, we become lost in negativity. We become disempowered. When we listen primarily to the many thoughts racing through our heads, we get confused.

When we really listen, we are crystal clear present in our life. We show up for ourself. We are responsible. The angels define responsibility as: the ability to respond appropriately to the circumstances of life. We cannot respond appropriately to life when we do not listen to life.

When we listen, we hear the voice of God everywhere. We see God everywhere. We realize that we are never alone, no matter what our thoughts tell us.

God is in the wind. The flower. The black bear lumbering through the woods. The howl of the coyote. The silence of the owl as it flies overhead. The eyes of the eagle as it sees its prey far below.

When we connect with nature, we connect with a vast power; we connect with the energy of Mother God. When we abuse nature, we disconnect from this energy.

The angels strongly suggest that you make time in your life to connect with Universal Energy on a consistent basis. You may call this Energy, God, Allah, Mother, Nature, or some other Name depending on where you live and what your worship. The name is not important. When we connect to Source, we all connect with the same Source. This Source is not complicated, serious, and heavy. It is simple. It is Love. Love in its most pure divine state. Love without concepts.

Love is the core of your being. This is not a love that can be categorized and defined by the mind, as much as the mind would like to do so. This Love is beyond concepts and definitions. Just as you cannot truly describe the scent of a rose to another, neither can this Love be truly described. You can know the scent of the rose only when you inhale its beauty deep within yourself.

We are living in transformational times. Perhaps you cannot transform the entire world, but you, yourself, can transform. And you are part of the world. As each of us transforms, so is the world transformed.

Romans 12:2 states "Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

In physics, the law of conservation of energy states that energy cannot be created or destroyed; it can only be changed from one form to another. Energy never ceases to exist, and energy can be transformed!

Be transformed by the renewing of your mind! Examine the thoughts that occupy your mind. Look at each thought carefully. Ask yourself if this thought is serving or hurting your higher purpose. Be willing to let go of thoughts that are not helpful, uplifting, and loving.

Unfortunately, many of our leaders today engage in ego tendencies. Instead of focusing upon "I" statements - they more often focus upon "you" "he" or "she" statements. Unfortunately, in an attempt to build themselves up, they focus on tearing one another down. The angels are waiting for that leader who has the courage to walk in his/her own truth with dignity - to speak only for him/herself. That leader who will refuse to engage in the immature bickering that passes for running for a political office today. The leader who will speak from the power within and say "I AM."

Even if we cannot change the world, we can change something deep with ourself. We can live our own life with courage and dignity. We can speak from the highest place within us - "I AM" - and then focus on BEING THAT.
