Walking

Walking is one of the best things. So simple. Just put on your walking shoes and open your door. Of course, one needs good enough legs, a safe area, and the inspiration to walk. Here in New York State, October is a perfect month for walking. Just cool enough that walking warms you up and gets your circulation going. The leaves on the ground provide a perfect picture of red, gold, yellow, orange, and green. I love walking. It is one of my favorite activities. Soon I will be back in the Los Angeles area. Winter is a good season to be there, so long as I can go into nature to walk, and frequent the farmer's market for fresh local produce. Life is so fragile, so fleeting, we may as well enjoy it as best we can.
