Good Morning! Well, here in Jamestown, NY it is time for oatmeal with raisons, ground flax, chia seeds, almond milk, and honey. I usually like nuts too, but I ran out. At home I roll my own oats, but I can't carry my oat roller everywhere. One of the best things about living where I do in California is that seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables are available year round at the local farmer's markets. I find it uplifting just to walk through an outdoor market!
Students of the The Clear and Simple Way School are busy as little beavers reading their new lessons. Speaking of beavers, I was at a lake near here in Alleghany Park when I saw a big branch with bright green leaves swimming across the ocean. Closer inspection revealed it was a beaver hard at work! I also saw a grey fox crossing the road. I didn't even know there were grey foxes. I thought there were only red foxes.
One thing I have noticed being here in the world AND being a student (well, yes, and teacher) of the school . . . . learning about dark and light . . . . is how harsh bad language sounds to me now. The vibration, even when someone is using it lightly, as part of their every day conversation, is hard and shocking to my own energy. The more I am in the school, the more my way of seeing changes. This is what the angels mean by SEEING.
As students continue in the school, their seeing continues to expand and deepen in amazing ways. They literally become new. They become not less of who they are, but more! As all that is not you falls away, the true you is revealed in all its radiant splendor.
Walking in the woods yesterday with my little dog, Penny (Penelope Sparkes Parsons) I came across a doe with triplets! Yes, three young fawns. And the other night, I startled a deer who startled me, just 6 feet from me, who ran right across my path, so close I could feel the air move and hear its hooves upon the earth.
Aren't these moments of grace? Moments when wild animals choose to appear before us? Moments when we sense and connect with an energy that is free and spontaneous, existing in the moment, not trying to be anything but what it is? Such moments give us a chance to experience something other than our own energy, something different from the ego that knows nothing about living in the moment.
